I am put here

At church on Sunday, my pastor, Justin Buzzard, gave a sermon on Philippians 1:12-18. It was an incredibly challenging and encouraging sermon and has made me stop and consider Paul's adherance to the truth of scripture and his life purpose of proclaiming it. Justin pointed at a small phrase in the passage that has stuck with him and I know will firmly stick with me throughout life.
.........I am put here.......
no matter where I am with my health, my work, my family I can and will always find joy and confidence knowing that it is where God has put me and no matter where I am, the Lord can use me to advance the gospel.
Several times I have blogged about the confidence I have in God's purpose with Lupus and with my family. These words will be sweet music to my soul if hopsital stays come around again.
The challenge comes in figuring out how to advance the gopsel at work, in a place filled with hard but desperately needy hearts.
And as I think through that I am forced to confront the reality of my spiritual health- which is frail.
I am so blessed by and grateful for my church (Garden City Church) and sermons like this.
